Crotch Attack

My brain makes connections before I understand.
My brain knows catcalls mean sex and my eyes connect sex with vagina parts so I look down.
But my me still hasn’t caught up and I think maybe I’m looking to see if my fly is down.
It is halfway.

I am very aware I am a woman when this happens.
When catcall time happens.
Not flydown time.
Keep up.

I’m not really offended and I’m not flattered and I’m definitely not interested but I do look at my crotch and I am aware I am a woman.
And I know this is about sex.
Sex.

A few weeks ago I stopped dating someone I just started dating.
“Hey, why haven’t you been calling me back?”
       “I ah, I like you too much.”
“What? Too much. I think that you would call back if you liked me too much.”
       “Yeah, it’s just that I want something casual. I don’t want to like someone this much, I don’t want a girlfriend.”
       “Casual?”
“Yeah, do you understand?”
       “Yeah I think I understand, like, you want a fuck buddy.”
“No!”
       “Yeah I think maybe you want someone you are attracted to but don’t have feelings for so that you can sleep with them but not have to hang out with them.”
       “No I just…”
“Next time to save time can you just whistle?”
       “What? Whistle?”
“Yeah, just whistle, cat call me, hey baby my crotch so that I know what it’s about or at least so my brain knows what is about and I can catch up later and we don’t have to learn about each other or talk about art or do all the things and I can just know.”
